The selection process will be based on:

• Physical Standard Test (PST) — height, chest and weight verification.
• Physical Efficiency Test (PET) — qualifying only. Male: 100 m in 16 sec, 800 m in 3 min 45 sec, Long Jump 3.5 m, Shot Put (7.26 kg) 4.5 m. Female: 100 m in 18 sec, 800 m in 4 min 45 sec, Long Jump 3.0 m.
• Written Examination — bilingual, graduate level, two papers. Paper-I is MCQ/CBT of 100 marks covering General Awareness, General English, Numerical Aptitude and Reasoning (25 marks each). Paper-II is subjective of 100 marks on Civil Engineering (scientific calculator allowed only in Paper-II). Qualifying marks per paper: 50% for UR, OBC, Ex-Servicemen, EWS and 45% for SC, ST.
