About the Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Machine Learning Engineer to join our dynamic team, focusing on Responsible AI. This role is tailored for individuals at the early stages of their careers who are keen on merging AI technology with ethical practices. The candidate will work in an R&D environment, working under the guidance of experienced professionals to explore and develop ethical, transparent, and fair AI systems through rigorous research and responsible AI techniques.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the development and implementation of AI systems, ensuring they adhere to ethical principles and Responsible AI guidelines.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Responsible AI practices into various projects and business offerings.
Conduct research and experiments to refine Responsible AI applications in our initiatives.
Assist in creating educational programs to enhance organizational commitment to Responsible AI.
Keep updated with the latest trends in Responsible AI and Machine Learning, contributing to the team’s continuous learning

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
Good understanding of machine learning concepts and the respective underlying mathematical know-how.
Basic development skills in areas like NLP, NLU, LLMs, and Computer Vision, etc.
Passion for AI ethics, actively updating their knowledge with the advancements in Responsible AI principles, aiming for ethical AI development and deployment.
Familiarity with data analysis, AI ethics, Responsible AI Principles, and Best Practices, for implementing techniques adhering to the high standards of ethical AI development.
Ability to translate abstract highlights into understandable insights in multiple knowledge-dissemination formats like blogs, presentations, paper publications, tutorials, and webinars
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Good to have:

Exposure to AI ethics and Responsible AI concepts through coursework, projects, or internships.
Experience with Responsible AI frameworks and techniques (e.g., Fairness Indicators, What-if tools, Learning Interpretability Tool (LIT), LIME, SHAP, etc.).
Knowledge of cloud environments like GCP/AWS, PyTorch, Tensorflow, and HuggingFace.
Participation in AI-related projects or hackathons with a focus on ethical considerations.
