  • We are looking for a team member to support our analytics team based out of US. Robust analytics is a priority for our businesses, as the product potential has major implications to a wide range of disciplines.
  • It is essential to have someone who understands and aspires to implement innovative analytics techniques to drive our insights generation across franchises.
  • Will assist in managing adhoc and regular reporting requests
  • He/she will ensure reporting and follow ups on Project Management activities, project resources, budget, and timelines
  • He/she will ensure on time and accurate delivery of all analytics and dashboard requirement by collaborating with relevant stakeholders
  • He/she will ensure dashboards and metrics are maintained as per requirements
  • Ensuring data consistency across all dashboards and analytics requirements
  • Pro-actively identifying analytical requirements
  • Developing SOPs for dashboards and other analytical needs
  • Providing training on analytical tools and usage
  • Building advance tools and automate or improve processes for analytical and other needs
  • People:
    • Maintain effective relationship with the end stakeholders within the allocated GBU (Global Business Units) and tasks – with an end objective to develop report and analysis as per requirement
    • Actively assist SBO operations associates and ensure modern technologies are leveraged
    • Interact effectively with healthcare professionals on data content and analysis
    • Constantly assist other associates in developing knowledge and sharing expertise
    • Performance indicators: Feedback from stakeholders (end users, teams) on overall satisfaction
    • Weightage: 15%
  • Performance:
    • Provide deliverables/reports (dashboard, data analysis via excels or relevant tool, data visualisation, slide deck, alerts, repot refresh, etc.) as per agreed timelines and quality
    • Ability to work cross-functionally, gather requirements, analyse data, and generate insights and reports that can be used by the GBU
    • Refresh existing reports and identifies improvement opportunities in reporting and BI tools, and as needed structure / functionality with the latest insights as they become available
    • Create dashboards to synthesize and visualize key information and enable business decisions
    • Works to develop analytics and reporting capabilities
    • Collaborates with teams to enhance data access across various sources, develop tools, technology, and process to constantly improve quality and productivity
    • Provide monitoring reports, verification reports as per agreed timelines and quality
    • Data Quality assessment: Identify abnormalities in the data monitored and develop report as per regulatory requirements
    • Support competitive insights and intelligence via workshops, including development of briefing material, gap analysis, SWOT, scenario planning, data analysis, tool development etc.
    • Leverage a wealth of in-house secondary resources (databases and datasets) to develop a comprehensive, synthesized narrative for key competitive topics and analysis for the questions asked on an ad-hoc or regular basis
    • Development and refinement of key in-house reports, incllding CI resources such as clinical trial trackers, clinical data comparisons, internal portals, alerts, etc.

      • Adherence to timelines and quality targets

  • Process:
    • Identify and define what are required for data analysis.
    • Collect data that are required for data analysis.
    • Perform data cleaning if it is necessary.
    • Enhance data through addition of new attributes – GBU/TA/Franchise/Product etc
    • Analyse, manipulate, and interpret the data from the data analysis.
    • Maintain interactive dashboards for any changes.
    • Help to build up a continuous development pipeline.
    • Educate and enable the business users to use data visualization tools.
    • Support in monitoring, gathering, processing, and analysing data (key-players, newcomers, and emerging technologies and trends, etc.) that is relevant for a GBU and preparing in the information into insight generation
    • Support delivery of projects in terms of resourcing, coordination, quality, timeliness, efficiency, and high technical standards for deliveries
    • Secure adherence to compliance procedures and internal/operational risk controls in accordance with all applicable standards
    • Refresh report on frequency/cycle basis (weekly/monthly/quarterly/annually), along with QC checks for each refresh
    • Ensure on time and accurate delivery of all analytics and dashboard requirements
    • Ensure data quality and consistency is maintained throughout the lifecycle of tracker/dashboard
    • Pro-actively identifying analytical requirements
    • Assist in managing plans in project management system
    • Reporting and follow ups on Project Management activities, project resources, budget, and timelines
    • Understanding analytical requirement of all relevant stakeholders and develop solution accordingly
    • Continuously exploring the new features and add on, assess different tools to improve the overall performance in a cost-effective way
    • Managing access for Smartsheet trackers and Dashboard
    • Developing SOPs for dashboards and other analytical needs elements (hotspots, links, etc.)
    • Performance indicators:
      • Feedback from stakeholders (end users, teams) activities supported to business function
      • Adherence to reporting plan/calendar
    • Weightage: 30%
  • Stakeholder:
    • Work closely with teams in regions/areas to identify reporting need, and assist in developing assigned deliverables
    • Liaise with Product Managers, leads, cross department to prepare relevant and customized deliverables
    • Performance indicators:
      • Feedback from stakeholders (end users, teams) ) on satisfaction with services provided
    • Weightage: 15%

About you

  • Experience: Up to 1 years’ experience with analytical tools such as (MS Office Suites, SQL, Phyton, R, Power BI, etc.).
  • Soft skillsStrong learning agility; Ability to manage ambiguous environments, and to adapt to changing needs of the business; Good interpersonal and communication skills; strong presentation skills a must; Team player who is curious, dynamic, result oriented and can work collaboratively; Ability to think strategically in an ambiguous environment; Ability to operate effectively in an international matrix environment, with ability to work across time zones; Demonstrated leadership and management in driving innovation and automation leveraging advanced statistical and analytical techniques
  • Technical skills:
    • Proficiency in data analysis tools or programs such as MS Excel, SQL, and/or Python/R/VBA.
    • Basic understanding of statistical concepts and methods.
    • Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or matplotlib.
    • Knowledge of database querying languages such as SQL, Alteryx.
    • Ability to clean, manipulate, and analyse data sets.
    • Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and techniques (depending on the job level).
    • Basic understanding of data warehousing concepts.
    • Experience with data querying and data extraction from various sources.
    • Having problem-solving approach with attention to detail and documentation skills
    • Excellent communication skills to present findings and insights effectively
    • An aptitude for problem solving and strategic thinking
    • Ability to synthesize complex information into clear and actionable insights
    • Basic Understanding of pharmaceutical domain, therapy area product development, manufacturing, supply chain and marketing functions, if any
  • EducationBachelor’s or master’s degree in areas such as Information Science/Operations/Management/Statistics/Decision Sciences/Engineering/Life Sciences/Business Analytics or related field (e.g., PhD / MBA / Masters);
  • LanguagesExcellent knowledge in English and effective communication skills – written and spoken
