Eligibility differs significantly between Regular Grades (E0 to E5) and FTE Plant Heads. The cut-off date for age, qualification and experience is 13 May 2026.
Educational Qualification( Regular Posts):
The accepted qualifications vary by grade and discipline. Common patterns:
- E0 Junior Executive (Chemical): 3 years full-time Diploma in Chemical / Petrochemical / Fertilizer / Plastic & Polymer / Sugar Technology / Refinery & Petrochemical / Oil Technology / Polymer Technology Engineering — OR 3 years full-time B.Sc. with Chemistry Honors / Polymer Chemistry / Industrial Chemistry. Minimum 60% (UR/OBC-NCL/EWS) and 50% (SC/ST/PwBD) aggregate.
- E0 Junior Executive (Mechanical, Fire & Safety): Discipline-specific Diploma / B.Sc. as per the notification.
- E1 to E5 Engineer / Senior Engineer / Senior Manager: 4-year B.E./B.Tech in the relevant discipline (Chemical / Petrochemical / Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation) with minimum 60% (UR) / 50% (SC/ST/PwBD).
- Finance posts (E1/E2/E5): CA/ICWA/MBA Finance/B.Com as per post.
- Medical Officer (E2): MBBS with relevant PG qualification.
- IS (E1): B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science / IT.
- FTE Plant Heads: Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering plus 17 to 20 years of senior-level industry experience in DCU/HDPE/LLDPE/PP/DFCU operations.

HRRL offers competitive PSU pay matched to grade. The CTC includes Basic Pay, Dearness Allowance, HRA (or company township accommodation), and Cafeteria Allowance ranging from 25% (E0-E2) to 35% (E5) of Basic Pay.
- E0: Rs 30,000 – Rs 1,20,000 per month
- E1: Rs 40,000 – Rs 1,40,000 per month
- E2: Rs 50,000 – Rs 1,60,000 per month
- E3: Rs 60,000 – Rs 1,80,000 per month
- E5: Rs 80,000 – Rs 2,20,000 per month
- FTE Plant Heads: Rs 72.56 lakh to Rs 76.75 lakh per annum (consolidated)

1.Computer Based Test (CBT) — objective questions, no negative marking. Two parts: General Aptitude (English, Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, Data Interpretation) + Technical / Professional Knowledge.
2.Skill Test — for E0 (Junior Executive – Fire & Safety, Chemical & Mechanical) only.
3.Group Task / Group Discussion — for E1 and E2 (except Medical Officer).
4.Personal Interview — for all positions including Medical Officer (which is interview-only).
5.Physical Fitness Efficiency Test — for E0 posts (agility, endurance, height test).
6.Pre-Employment Medical Examination — final stage for all.
